very nice and fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i added this to the add on external drive i got from this site. it loads games alot faster. and some of the kind of fast loading games, it took away the waiting time.i love it, its an sshd--hdd. 1 tb, 8 gig ssd.hybrod i think its called. i love it, its one step below an ssd.

Upgraded 2009 Mac Book Pro

Physical installation requires proper size Torx screwdriver. File transfer was done using an external drive adapter. Only help I needed was from my 13 year old son. Excluding file transfer time, project took about 30 minutes.

Great for a video Media drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I removed the optical drive and got a data-doubler to plug in an always attached second drive to be used for storage of video media on my video editing laptop. This drive is replacing a 7200 rpm drive and i notice little to no difference in performance but the 1tb space is heaven sent!

Its a good concept more SSD would be better

It works but the SSD should be bigger so you can store more of the used files for faster access. Otherwise a great drive.

Seagate - 1TB Internal Solid State Hybrid Drive

Being a hybrid laptop drive, it has excellent response time. Programs and items load very quickly, and the best of all it is quiet. Seagate has been a powerhouse, and innovator in storage media. I am sure I will get many years of trouble free use from this drive.

Great SSHD, Startup/Everyday function much faster
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alienware 13R2, i7 6500u, 8GB RAM, formerly was paired with a high RPM HDD (500GB), Windows 10 Pro. The laptop performed much slower before, games loaded very slow, and since I updgraded the speed has accelerated a lot. Startup is much faster, everyday use is much better. I have had 0 problems with it, as I have had 0 problems with any Seagate HDD's/SSHD's in the past. I have been building PC's about 2 years now, always trusted seagate and have not been let down.
