I wasn't to sure if this would work, but i gave it a try. I desperately needed an upgrade for my ps3 i had to many install games in it, and it worked wonderfully and i still have space.

I put this in a 2 and a half year old HP laptop after noticing some sluggish performance. After installing the hard drive, it's feeling quite a bit faster even though it's not a full SSD.

Works as expected. More cost effective than an SSD if you are looking for space rather than overall speed.

I got this to upgrade my laptop to Windows 8.1 and it works great. Had no problems with installation or any time using laptop. I did a fresh install of windows 8.1 and there was no problems during install.

Replaced my original laptop drive that was also 5400 Rpm, this drive seems to boot up way faster and my apps loads faster. So far so good...

A cheaper alternative to a full sshd, but faster than my old hdd. About 25-30% faster start up time. If you're thinking about this hard drive, go for it. You'll be happy with its performance.

I used this hdd/ssd drive to upgrade my ps4's internal storage. It performs well. There is a slight boost in start up time and games that took forever to load like gta loads up a bit quicker.

For the price, you cant beat it. Get improved speed along with a lot of space. Not as fast as a native SSD but when I have had 3 go bad in a matter of 2 years, I will stick to the tried and true Hybrid drive.

Best Buy helped me pick the perfect SSD to replace a bad drive in my Mac. They provided expertise and a great product that has added much life to my once outdated MacBook Pro.

Needed a new drive in a hurry, drove down to Best Buy (only 5 minutes away). That Best buy had a limited selection of drives however I grab the biggest one. Installation took 5 mins and it worked great,

I find this a wonderful marrying of solid state drive and established hard drive technology. With Gigabytes of SS memory programs can reside in SS memory and it feels like programs are loading quicker.

I replaced a faulty 5400rpm drive. It is my system and applications drive for my 2009 Mac Mini. System boot up, finder actions and application performance has sped up dramatically. I just hope it maintains it's performance in the future.

Great value and a very nice upgrade for my laptop. Relatively easy to install and a good quality product. I wish I had upgraded a year ago, I highly recommend this to anyone. It provides much faster start up and shut down times and the processing speed is much improved over the original hard drive.

Bought this to upgrade my PS4. The speed gains is noticeable, but very minimal. I needed more for the space. It should be 4.5 stars, the minimal gains probably has to do with PS4 rather than the HD. Packaging is the same as any other HD. Came with all hardware for install.

There are inherent issues with even this current gen of SDD's though they will work the bugs out.

I installed this drive in my MacBook Pro because it had slowed down and my old hard drive was only 160GB and was nearly full. Installation was easy and my laptop boots up and runs much faster.

I put it in my Playstation 4 it took like 5 minutes and after the update you have like 860-880 gb left over.

This drive has been a wonderful replacement for the standard 160GB drive that came with my PS3 Slim. The load times for .any. game that installs to the drive and doesn't rely on the optical drive for data has a remarkable increase in load time. I now have my friends wanting to do the same to their systems. Some games that I have seen gain performance are: Diablo 3 (especially the digital version), Kingdoms of Amalur, Two Worlds II, Assassin's Creed games, and DMC Devil May Cry. I realize this drive has more throughput than what the PS3 can muster, so I'd speculate that it would work even better for higher performance machines. I highly recommend this product.

Solid State hybrid drives are the way to go with any upgrade, I have upgraded multiple hard drives in my equipment to solid state. From my mac book to my PlayStation.

My first hybrid drive for this Macbook Pro and it performs like a new computer. It was easy to install, setup, and deploy. It's a 2nd drive so no complexities of setting up as a boot drive.
