After research -- I got the hybrid drive -- and it has been working well and as advertised in the past 8 months. Would definitely spend the money again on a new drive for other devices as needed.

easy to install hard drive

I did run into trouble with the partitioning portion due to a wire in the ribbon was fried as well. Once apple fixed it, it was good to go.

Great for PS4

I bought it because it was in stock and I needed a drive for my PS3 in order for the kids to play games after the holidays. This was easy to install and has worked like a charm!

Unfortunately, it didn't work. I'm disappointed to have to give it a low rating because I'm sure it really is a reliable HD... I think mine in particular might've been faulty.

Great harddrive for anyone.
