I purchased this hard drive (recommended by Best Buy sales associate) to upgrade my 1TB PS4 drive. Definitely a good fit couldn't be happier. Performs up to par with original and is completely compatible.

I purchased this because i was running out of space on my MacBook Pro. It was easy to install, runs great and has 4x the capacity of the original drive.

It lives up to the good reviews. Very easy to swap out. Took me all of 30 minutes. I've had no problems since installing it. Worth the purchase.

I bought this hard drive so that I could upgrade my ps4. It was very easy to install and it looks great going into the system and seeing that you have over a terabyte of storage available instead of a few gigabytes. GREAT PRODUCT!!

We purchased the Seagate 2tb hard drive as a replacement for the PS4. He did all nessecary back-ups. Installation and formatting were simple. Now we have more space for the very large graphic files that the PS4 games require.

We all know that 500Gb for the PS4 is only enough for Year 1. This is a perfect replacement drive for the PS4. Replacing the drive itself is a 10 minute effort. Here is the trick you need to know to make it virtually painless. In Settings > System there is a new menu choice, Backup and Restore. If you can get a big enough USB drive to connect to your PS4, do a Backup to it. It saves EVERYTHING except for Trophies. When you do a Restore you are 100% ready to go just like you left it. Because you don't hear much about this menu choice, and to save some time, I went ahead and deleted most of my APPS. That left me with just 120Gb to copy. 75 minutes to backup, 75 minutes to restore and I was ready to go. Knowing what I know now, I'd have kept a few more Apps, extended the backup/restore time but wouldn't have had to redownload the update patches on the games I deleted.

Purchased as a second drive for my laptop which has 2 drive bays. Pleasantly surprised at the low price (It was on sale/special). Large capacity and just worked when I plugged it into my Windows 10 system.

The Dell Optiplex 7040 Mini-Tower Computer case is smaller than the Optiplex 9020 case. This downsized case requires a 2 1/2" laptop internal hard drive if you want to add a second drive. The Seagate 2TB internal Laptop drive is ideal for this upgrade. The installation was a breeze and the drive performed as specified. I understand that this drive also works well if one wants to upgrade the PS4 storage capacity.

I installed this in my PS$ and it works great. Now I have all the space I need for games I have downloaded. It's the cheapest priced HDD around right now. Highly recommended.

This Seagate drive had a fair rating and a decent price from Best buy but it's exceeded my needs and expectations.

Easy install into my PS4. Plenty of space. Reads quickly. Only took about 5 minutes to install. 20 minutes to update and validate. And I was ready to get back to gaming. I installed every Playstation plus game and still have 1.2 terabytes left. Excellent buy for the ps4 gamer who needs more space.
