Large Capacity, Great Price

I have about 2 terabytes of video. Geek Squad installed the hard drive as part of a service package I bought. So far the drive has performed great with no problems.

Size and speed

I prefer to use drives that are at least 7200 rpm when using disk based drives and this one meets that need. The quality of Seagate has always been a deciding factor for me whether building a system for a customer, or for myself.

Loads of memory at a great price

I've been computing since 1974 -- the days of punch cards and tape drives--long before the Commodore 64 and Fortran. But this drive is great, easy to slap in and set up. And the low price was a big plus too.

I don't think you could really ask for more. I use the drive as an archive, not day to day, yet find the speed acceptable. I would buy this again.

A decent hard drive

I have installed many hard drives over the years it took me 3 attempts to format it correctly using their instructions. Software is downloaded via their site, and transfer of previous drive was easy.

Huge drive, very fast

The second one is used to back up the first one with Carbon Copy Cloner. Only had the drives a couple weeks, but seem fine. Speed and capacity should extend the useful life of the computer.
