This hard drive has enough storage to hold all my videos, photos, games and more. Nice to have everything on one drive instead of multiples.

I have normally purchased WD but thought I would try the Seagate. The unit has performed flawlessly for 6 months. I am using in a Synology NAS unit.

Good price for a 7200rpm drive. Comes with seagates 5 year warranty which is excellent. Have used seagate for years with no failures in the desktop market.

great device that was much faster than expected. hooked into the tower with ease and stays relatively cool with a normal speed fan on it.

Using the drive as the primary drive in a Ubuntu 14.04 workstation which I use to run virtualbox virtual machines. So far it has been running great.

Haven't had any issues so far. I'm always a bit nervous with Seagate drives because they either fail pretty earlier on if there are issues, or last for a few years. I still have mixed feelings about their reliability.

If you know the sinking feeling one gets when one pushed the button on his machine and fir the first time ever nothing happens (actually my Dell managed a feeble red glow to blink a few times on the power button itself, but even that disappeared shortly !) I knew I had burned out my old power supply. So off to Best Buy because I needed on that day (no time for online purchase...) and to my surprise I found this as an open box for only $32. It was 100+ watts more powerful than the power supply that had come with my Dell desktop. I installed it in about 20 mins. and it worked fine the first time I pressed that power button again.

This product does what I bought it for. It stores files and runs at a decent speed. I use a SSD for OS and most used programs, so speed is not a issue.

This drive is slower then drive that came with my iMac (5400RPM vs. 7000RPM) and it requires a special part(from www.macsales.com, $40) to ensure that the fan does not kick in all the time. It is working fine though.

It's a Seagate, it's a hard drive, and it's plenty fast for the AAA games that are stored on it. What more can you say really?

Good quality, nice price for the space. This is a replacement for a 2TB Hitachi that failed (got everything off of it!).

I purchased this HD just for storage. It's given me no latency issues whatsoever. Using this to install everything is great.
