excellent drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.one of my RAID5 drives that i was in the process of abandoning died on me and a second one was showing signs of errors so I i quickly bought this at best buy to put in so I wouldn't lose all my data. I kept the drive after abandoning the raid5 box for a ZFS pool and created a second pool for doing system abackups to.. it's working very well..

The other brand that was available runs at 5400 rpm. The slower brand had the speed right on the box. The one I bought did not have the rpm anywhere on the box. I had to google it. Seems if you have a better product you might want to let the public know...Don't you think.

Solid Hard Drive at a Great Price

Being internal it flies, making your backup time far shorter than if you used an external USB drive. It also functions very well as a recording drive for digital audio multitrack applications. I would buy another without hesitation.
