That was a huge relief because i now know it will last a long time. I now have 8tb in my rig but not in raid just because i dont want to format both drives i have things i dont want to delete.

I couldn't install it for some reason, but my son and his friend took over and installed it just fine. I must be getting old! Anyway, great price for the storage space and quality!

It's no speed demon, so you probably won't want to use it as a production drive in a video editing environment. It is plenty fast enough for routine storage and backup, which is how I'm using it. A good drive to use as a media server for your home entertainment system.

Great Hard Drive

I purchase this to replace my 1TB hard drive.This is the second hard drive that crashed after RCN cable issues, caused a cable outage. Hopefully this will be the last for a while.
