Nice portable backup drive

Not as fast as I thought tho I'm not using the USB 3.0 so I'm sure that slows it down. I don't use the dashboard as I just drag & drop files so I cannot comment on that. The cable is short, not a problem for me but others might like a longer one. Very quiet compared to my other older drive.

Fast but some operations confusing

But lack of instructions creates some confusion on setting up the backing up. Seems to be creating incremental backups of only what is new or changed. The original back up folder containing all my files, etc., does not seem to get updated. Wondering how I would then restore my entire drive to latest state in case of a crash.

Satisfied Seagate Owner!

It holds tons of files and applications. Also important stuff like personal data, insurance files, scans of mortgages and car titles. Great backup for pictures that you never want to lose either.
