this was easy to set-up (just plug it in), and works well (pretty quick, no problems). We use it to back-up a lap-top computer.

Had a few initial problems with it crashing but it updated itself and seems to be running perfectly now. Overall a good buy for the price in my opinion. ( I got it on sale with an extra 100 off though)

Have been generally happy with Seagate products. The only thing I haven't liked about them (lately) is the built in backup software. Older versions seemed more intuitive and was easier to use. The current backup software is glitchy and unnecessarily difficult.

My other hard drive crashed and I was able to have data copied to this new drive. I've had it for a few weeks and it works fine.

Trying to get some of the things off of my computer but I don't want to delete them. External hard drive gives me more memory

This is my second portable hard drive. Lucky for me, the first drive failed in less than a week and I was able to exchange it at Best Buy. This one has worked well for over a month, so I am pleased.

Everything worked right out of the box, no need to install drivers. Plug and play ready to go. Fast write/read speed and the hard drive didn't get hot after use like my previous one. Great price and size is compact.

Great deal on a 1TB external hard drive. I can now transfer computer files into my hard drive and bring with me everywhere I go!

Can't complain. It's smaller than I expected. Quite compact. Just plug it in and go. No problems. Just wish the cord was longer.

I use this to backup files from my laptop that has a small SSD. It works well. It's quiet and does not get warm. I've had similar drives fail from other brands and feel like this drive will last longer.

The is a good external drive to copy files from an old windows machine to a mac. Once all of the files are copied i can then use this drive for mac's time machine.

I bought this for Music and Movies, it work great and the plug and play was a plus. For the price I couldn't have made a better choice!!!!!

This is a great value for being able to have data portable and keeping your computer from getting filled with clutter.
