Lots of storage space - great for backing up my catalog of pictures. Easy to use, very portable.

Usually these types of drives come with a solid amount of pre-loaded files that you can't do much about. But not this guy. Plugged this baby right it and backed up everything from my pc to the kitchen sink. 1 TB is a ton of space, i don't think i'll have to worry about filling it up any time soon

Seagate backup was recommended to me by Geek Squad. Has a good, reliable reputation? Relatively inexpensive. I found it very easy to set up and use. Nice and small. Very compact.

This drive is small and light weight making it very portable. It is also quite fast, and with a terabyte of space, large enough to handle most storage jobs. It's very quiet too.

A lot of memory for the price, easy to hook up and small

Very easy to use, had the device up and running and backing up data within 2 minutes of opening the box. Connect the device using the USB cord provided and off you go. Data and, more impressively, pictures transferred quickly and easily from my old laptop and desktop PC to the device.

Easy setup, smooth installation with no problems. I used Windows Backup utility instead of the included software for my PC backup. It took over two hours to complete, but I have USB 2.0 so I wasn't disappointed. Also backed up my phone using Wifi. Plenty of capacity, terrific form factor.

Best external hard drive for the price. Sometimes it goes on amazing sale, so as soon as you see it at around $70 or even $80, buy it. These things are a must no matter what. I went from using it to backing up and restoring computers for friends to using it as a second xbox one hard drive.

I've bought 3 different Toshiba external hard drives and each one crashed within 30 days, so after reading reviews I decided to try this one. I'm so glad I did! It's sleek, slim design makes taking it with me a breeze (my phone is bigger), and I've had no problems with it! I love it!

This drive has been great. Easy to use, lots of storage and rather small. Just back up using Windows, not the bloatware that comes with it.

I am using the drive for a data backup for my computer. Just plug it into a USB port and copy files to the drive. After backup I disconnect the drive and set it aside in case it is needed in the future. Great little drive for the purpose although I'm sure it has lots of other uses.

This drive was very easy for my son to setup and install. So far it has worked as a good solution to expanded storage for his XBoxOne gaming system. Good price as well.

Our computer consultant recommended getting this back up for our last computer. It was the best thing we've done. In fact, this is now our second one for my husbands laptop computer. It's very east to use and gives us peace of mind knowing that we have a backup system in place.

I needed extra storage for my Xbox one & was looking to buy an external hard drive, when l found this one on sale I was a little unsure if it would work, so I read a few of the reviews & saw that a few other people had bought this for the same thing. I'm actually thinking about getting another one for my Xbox 360.

Purchased this to backup files for an old OS. Overall very solid transfer speeds, plenty of storage for current technology usage, and comes with a nice Windows/Mac app that allows for cloud backup. All for a reasonable price. Nothing to complain about, solid build, solid purchase.
