Super easy to use and tons of storage. Purchased for my wife to use with her Mac.

Comes with backup software that automatically keeps track of any changes that I make to my desktop computer. Completely automatic and very accurate (I've checked it). Very quiet and does not take up precious desk top room (smaller than my cell phone). Very good product for the price.

1Tb holds a lot of stuff. It was also easy to format for my Mac. Thanks Best Buy!

this was easy to setup and easy to use. Great for downloading movies for storage.

Love the size and power of having a 1tb drive with me and that it is USB3 for speed.

The software was quick to set up and it does what it's supposed to do. I've only had it for a couple of months so we'll have to see how long it does it for. There is not much more you can say about a product like this.

I bought this portable external hard drive because I needed something light with enough memory to hold pretty much everything that is on my other Seagate desktop hard drive...that isn't so quite portable. It has paid itself off already. With the 3.0 connection, transferring files was so quick and easy. I plan on buying a few more to give out as gifts to my siblings (how aren't so techy).

I basically bought this to use as an external hard drive to take my files from my pc in one location to my laptop in another. The software initially wants you to just set up back ups but after creating several file folders, it started acting like any other drive on the computer.

Like the backup feature. Lots of storage for a decent price. I am not sure I have it set up correctly so won't be giving 5 stars. Someone with more technical knowledge then I have won't have any problems. I did get it to back up my files but takes all day, not sure if this is normal or not. If you don't have a lot of technical knowledge you still will be able to easily back up your files manually.

An absolutely perfect solution to our problem. We bought a new Xbox One, with the internal 500GB storage. This is most certainly not enough storage, even for the average gamer. Having this device as an accessory to make up for much needed storage was just what we needed!

I prefer seagate for upgrading/expanding my Xbox One storage. I currently have two different model seagate 1TB portable hard-drives connected and it is the easiest process. Plus seagate is always reasonably priced.

I love the size of this drive. I did find the software a bit confusing, though.

It's a fast device and very reliable. I'm a field engineer, so it works very good for me, it's light and small so I can to carry it in my backpack for extra storage.

I needed an external drive to do a quick backup before changing computers for an overseas trip and this works like a champ. The utility was quick and easy to understand and I was able to keep things backed up continuously during the trip so nothing was missed when I returned.

My old external hard drive is too big and bulky and required me to be near an electrical outlet. I love how slim this item is and that it has an external power source. This item will come in handy keeping my documents safe and backed up incase something happens to my computer.

This external hard drive is easy to use. I am not a computer geek and probably never will be. This was easy to set up and start transferring files. My old laptop didn't have any space left on it so I transferred files and deleted from computer so it would work. Great purchase.

Best Buy associate said the set up was very easy, but I had my doubts. He was right! Plug in the device and it does the rest. Wife uses it for storing photos and is extremely happy with it. It really helps to get product information from BBY associates when uncertain!

Compact, slim and so easy to use. I was looking for something simple with a lot of space to back up my important files into and this was definitely a good choice.

Older versions of this size of external hard drive were big and bulky. I love that this is slim and sleek, as it goes with us when we travel for work. Great price, PC finds this instantly and no weird and scary additional paperwork or registration setup necessary.
