I am using this hard drive as a backup for my personal use, it is serving good so far.

I needed a new portable storage drive and this one perfectly fit the bill. It stores a ton of data and is very sleek! Fits nicely in a pocket if you're on the go.

This external hard drive worked perfectly for me. It was quick and easy to setup. It has a great amount of storage for my needs (backing up photos and MS Office files).

Small size and large storage space works great for the new Mac. I can stack 2 (8 tb) under the monitor on my Mac and they aren't in the way. No problems so far.

I was having problems with my PC and didn't want to lose my data files. I am a writer. I need a backup and I bought this. It hooked up easily and the system found it with no problem. All I had to do then was drag and drop my files. I accessed them to see if they were correct. I didn't check them all but the ones I did were good. I accessed them from Word and I was good. I brought my computer to the Geek Squad and they fixed it. (Viruses). When I brought it home, all was good.

If you need a reliable external hard drive, these seagate ones are the perfect match for what you need. As a motion graphics animator, I work off of my external hard drives and these seagate ones are some of the best you can find, specially for the price. Worth the buy!

My hard drive was failing on my macbook pro and I got this harddrive to back it up before replacing it. Now I carry it with my laptop and run back ups way more often then my older hard drives that required their own power source this one runs power of the USB with one cord.

I love this for additional external storage. This gives more storage than the avg laptop, costs way less & takes up less space, than an additional laptop would.
