With the use of the built in OPTIONAL Software, I was easily able to copy my Laptop's entire 500GB Hard Drive, bit for bit, in case it were to crash. You can then use that same software to re-install the entire system. I Plan to buy a couple more of these units.

A ton of storage in a small white package!

Smaller design with more memory in a white which matches blends in with the silver pedestal. With 2TB it more than mets my needs and looks great. My second Seagate and I couldn't be more satisfied with the performance.

Drive works ok but software not good

Easy link up and every computer recognizes it fast transfers my data at decent speed works well with my DVD and PS3. What more can I say. If your are a space junkie this is your fixfix. Compact and only 1 cable.
