I purchased this drive to replace my old freeagent goflex that I dropped and had to do open hdd surgery on to even get it to spin up. Anyways this drive so far is a great replacement, its a very slim drive (half as thick as my old goflex) and its usb3 to boot. Great price too.

I bought several of these. One to back up pictures, another for videos, etc. I use another to backup data on my computer. They are portable and fast. Works well connected to the Bu-Ray player as well. Worth it.

Upgrading the PS4 500GB hard drive to this 2TB hard drive was a great improvement to my console. The 500G was good at first but once I owned a collection of games I needed something with more space so that I don't need to keep deleting and re-downloading various games.

I bought this as added storage for my Xbox One and it works just as well as anything advertised as exclusive to the One. Includes the right cable to connect to the Xbox as well, so all you have to do is install the drive software on your Xbox which was very simple to do.

I got this portable Seagate 2TB to replace one of my flash backup drives. I like the 2 TB and portable design. I always use Seagate External drives. I have had good luck with them for many years, they have been reliable. I also replaced my 1 TB external desktop one with a 5 TB.

This portable drive, has more than enough space to backup the important things on my MacBook Pro. The USB3 is backwards compatible. The speed of this drive is incredible. This drive is USB powered, and hence is a very good travel, portable storage or back up solution.

I've used external hard drives before, but none were as good as Seagate - Backup Plus. I plugged it in and immediately started backing up my files and photos. Seagate - Backup Plus is extremely easy to use-- and it has plenty of storage capacity. I bought one for my wife, too!

It's compact for the storage capacity of 2T. I consolidated my earlier portable hard drives plus use this one to store my iTunes library. I was at first reluctant to get it because I was used to using thunderbolt and the data transfer speed it provides. The USB 3 is adequate.

Easy to set up and use. Plenty of storage at a good price. Light, small and easily portable.

The unit is working fine and appears to be well made. The 2 TB storage should last me for quite a while. It is less bulky than the Western Digital equivalent. I also noticed it has less vibration when reading/writing than the 750 GB western digital unit I had.

I purchased this backup drive to remove the drive for my PS4. This was a very simple process and the drive is working just fine. I put the 500gb PS4 drive back into the Seagate enclosure. At black friday price, this was a great buy to upgrade my console storage.

Very small, lightweight and compact. Large storage capacity. I bought this to take with me overseas to backup pictures/videos. I think it will work well since I wanted something with a small footprint and didn't weigh too much to carry around. Love it so far.

The Seagate 2TB Backup Plus portable drive is very small and compact. Much smaller than a Seagate 1TB portable drive I purchased about two years ago. Both work flawlessly, are easy to use and hold lots of photos, videos and documents. If you're looking for a portable backup drive the Seagate 2TB Backup Plus is great to have.

Purchased this as a replacement for my PS4's stock hard drive and it works extremely well. No issues whatsoever and more than enough room for every game and download I have so far. Highly recommended.

I was running out of space on my ps4 so I decided to upgrade. This one worked perfectly and it was very easy to get the hard drive out of the case and put in my ps4. I put my old ps4 hard drive into the case this one came in and use it as a backup storage device.

This is my second Seagate USB drive. It is a reliable product compare to Wester Digital. My two Western Digital USB drives were only last a little than a year. My 500GB Seagate is still running for almost 4 years. I need more space and purchased this one.

when will I ever use up 2tb? lol I'm sure I said that when we went from 256mb to 1gb and on...this is a great size in a nice small package, backup and easy setup easy to use, very portable and very happy with the product. got a great price on black friday

This is my first 2TB Seagate Backup Plus external hard drive. It works like it say it would. I purchased this because Seagate has a driver that will make this 2TB (NFTS format) to work with my MacBook (HFS+). You have to install the driver onto the MacBook. If you don't install the driver, the MAC can still read the external drive but cannot write to it because Mac OSX cannot write to NTFS and visa versa with Windows OS. Or you can format this 2TB drive to HFS+ and use it for your Mac OSX. Then, you can install the Seagate driver on your Windows machine to read and write to this HFS+ formatted external drive. This external hard drive does not come with any encryption software. However, it does have a good backup software that is intuitive to use and easy to schedule a backup on Windows only. There isn't a MAC backup software version as of yet the time I purchased.

For the price that it cost it is the best all-around for what I use it for in my opinion it's quiet doesn't get too hot you can just be plugged right in on top of my Xbox and it's just great
