I have been using this drive mostly with my Apple Macbook Pro laptop for the past few months, and my experience with it has been great. I use it for backups mainly, but also store large project files. It works well with Apple's Time Machine App. The USB 3.0 capability and drive itself are very fast for copying large amounts of data. (I think it can write about 1-2 GB per minute on my MacBook Pro.) I also use it from time to time on an older iMac that only has USB 2.0, and it works just fine, just not quite as fast. When I need another portable backup drive I will definitely look at this product or whatever similar drive comes out next from Seagate.

I'm saving all my cd collection on iPod Touch mp3 player. Since it takes time to load the CDs into iTunes, i want something to store the iTunes package. Small, easy to use, no moving parts, and will not be harmed if-left in the drawer

The whole reason for this device was to attempt to get rid of most of my DVDs and music. The hard drive has been nothing but a bonus, and makes my life much easier. I can carry it anywhere, with whatever movies I choose. Get one today!

I used it to upgrade my PS4 hard drive(500g) and got it for a great price.The ordering process was smooth and uneventful.The drive itself was exactly what I was looking for and to swap out the drives was very easy.I'm a happy camper!

I am VERY pleased with this external hard drive. It is not only easy to use and comes at a great price, but it also seems to work more seamlessly with my PC in mapping to a lower letter drive when I connect than is typically the case with the WD My Passport drives I've used (for example). I also love the red color which makes it easy to distinguish from my other drives.

The hard drive is thin and compact so that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk and is easily transportable if that ever becomes necessary. It's got more than enough space to back up my entire computer. What's not to like...?

I took it apart and used the drive to upgrade my ps4. It was cheaper to buy this external drive than an internal. Worked great and i didn't have to buy an expansion bay so saved a ton a money. The drive works great. No complaints.

I primarily purchased this to replace my Ps4 hard drive. It originally did not work for people due to a timing issue that had to so with HDCP. Since the last Ps4 patch the issue was resolved and all you had to do was turn off HDCP. Getting the hard drive out was slightly difficult especially if you wanted to not damage the case for reuse. Just need to use loosen up the seams where the case encloses with a razor blade and squeeze to get the tabs to pop open. Remove the foil and pull out the proprietary adaptor. Then simply swap out the drives and voila you got a PS4 with a 2tb hard drive and reuse the old drive and you can have a portable slim 500gb drive again

Easy to use backup software. Quick. Works great. Bright blue color. Small size. Easy to store to backup drive and easy to retrieve your files. Durable. Best feature is that it is portable. I like it - it does what I need it to do. :-)

I like that I can carry this easily in my back pack. It holds a lot and doesn't take up a lot of space. Is compatible with windows 10.

Took unit apart fit perfectly in my ps4. Took original hdd and put in case and using as a 500gb external. Cheap easy way to upgrade ps4 hdd

We picked this up on sale for my extreme gamer son. He chews up memory like nobody's business. We use this to store all his game data. Easy to use, works perfectly, and it has a ton of storage. Excellent item and great price point.

My son uses this for his xbox...he accidentally dropped his old hard drive so we bought this one which has more memory and is smaller in size so definitely a win win for us!

I needed a place to store files to free up space on my laptop. The Geeks recommended this product, and the price was right. All I had to do was plug in and transfer. Exactly what I needed, at less than I thought I'd have to pay.

This external drive delivers exactly what is advertised: 2TB of storage in a very small package. This drive is perfect to tag along with my Laptop when I need to save large video files or back it up. Only 4 stars since I needed to manually erase and reformat the drive for a MAC. Not too difficult, but I would have liked to see a little better plug in play

Using to free up space on computer by coping purchased videos and thousand of pictures. Was easy to set up and fast data copying from computer. Now I can view my movies and pictures on other devices as well as my desk top.

I had an old Seagate external hard drive I bought years ago, but with all the video, picture and other files we have today, it got outgrown. Still works great! So in looking for a new, larger one, I looked again at Seagate. This one with 2Gig space was priced right and had great reviews. It's size, extras and dashboard make it easy to manage and carry around. It is an excellent product that I am sure will have the same dependability as my older one. Definitely worth checking out!

Got this to swap out the 500gb in my ps4 for the 2tb. Works perfectly and now my ps4 runs even faster.

I bought one for my son and one for my mother. The extra storage space is a big relief. I also enjoy that it is streamline and is not big and bulky. My son uses his for his xbox one and my mother uses hers with her iMac.
