The drive is easy to use. I've had literally no issues with the drive. It is large, and I take it everywhere I go. I use it with my Samsung TV. Is not a smart tv, but reads the drive well enough. Would buy two more!

This is great to take with you on the go, it's small and very portable with lot's of memory.

This external drive was easy to set up. I am using a USB3 cable with a USB3 port which provides enough power to use the device. Not sure if a USB 2 port would provide enough power, possibly need a "2 into 1 / USB 2 Y cable" to plug into two USB 2 ports for power? No place for external power source if your ports do not provide enough power. Large capacity (2TB); compact size which is easily portable... The only issue I see is if you only have USB 2 ports not USB3 and then that's only an issue if the USB 2 does not provide enough power. Since I have USB3 ports it works fine for me; I do not have USB 2 ports to test it on. It does not have a place to hook up an external power supply like the "larger" drives although I do not see that as a negative.

This hard drive is very light and seems to function very well even with the 2TB space.

I used to be partial to Western Digital drives and wouldn't buy anything else, but decided to give Seagate drives a chance. I use portable hard drives daily so I expect them to work when I need them. I have had nothing but a good experience with all of the Seagate drives I've purchased over the past few years and this one is no exception. I'm very happy with the purchase and will stick with Seagate from here on out.

Easy installation, perfect when your on the move and have to have that extra storage

Needed a good sized portable hard drive to back up my laptop and hold some files needed for the road (a LOT of files). This drive filled the requirements and then some. Excellent looking and a reasonable price. Perfect!

I've a lot of experience with computer and electronic devices. I normally purchase and use Western Digital storage products, but every iteration or fab of individual models have different reliability and performance. After researching the failure rate of various 2TB portable drives, the Seagate had an appreciable lower failure rate. I won't know the outcome of the stats until I have used the dive for a period of time, but the performance is impressive especially for a portable unit. Provided it does not fail, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend this model to anyone looking for a small form factor and efficient design. Please note that this only applies to this model and other drives by the same manufacturer may have lower reliability and performance. Do your research before buying any storage devices as they all vary wildly even among the same brand.

Got this 2TB harddrive for my ps4 because i ran out of space with the stock 500gb hdd. i had to open the case and this ruins your new external harddrive's warranty but i couldnt be happier. i got a bunch of games installed ready to be played, it runs smooth and dont have any troubles, i use the 500gb hdd for external hdd and it works fine. note you cant return harddrive after trying to do this
