The transfer rate is not fast as I thouht

I encountered a problem during the copying process. The hard drive would just disconnect from the computer by itself and interrupted the copying process. Sometimes it would reconnect again. Call Seagete customer services. The tech said it might be a bad cable or the drive is defect. I changed another cable. the problem still remains. So need to return it.
