I am very happy with this purchase. I have had other hard drives that caused nothing but problems. This one is so easy to use for both backing up your computer and also finding information that you have backed up on it. I can easily go directly to the folder and picture I want without all kinds of problems. I would suggest this item to anyone that is looking for an external hard drive, easy to install, back up, locate specific items once backed up and plenty of storage space.

Was looking for a great place t consolidate all my data and this was compact and user freindly.

We're loyal Seagate customers. Just upgraded to this 2G external hard drive. It has all the room the average person needs. I have more than 10 yrs of digital photos on it with a lot of room left for the next 10.

I was pleased with my purchase. It was an upgrade from a previous purchase with less external hard drive space and since I already had the software already installed it was just easy to plug it in and use it.

Bought this hard drive to use with Xbox One. Was a breeze to setup to add storage space for all of the free XBL games that come out monthly. Works fast, was a good price on top of that. Would recommend!

I bought the slim HD because it thought t would be easier to carry from work to home since I am a designer it was great being able to use so easily. This is a great product and would recommend to friends

My husband has used up his computer's memory because of all the pictures he has taken. I bought the Seagate 2TB because he doesn't like to delete pictures! Was easy to use and now his computer runs quicker because he doesn't have all those pictures hogging the memory.

This is the best looking external portable hard drive I have bought. Now I can take backup of everything from 1TB storage of my Laptop and still I am left with plenty of storage. Good decision made to buy this. Thanks Bestbuy for having it on black Friday sale.

Super fast hard drive!!! Very quite !!!!! ! I'm currently using this as a back up for my music I use to dee-jay with. I use it on my Mac and PC , great buy for a 2TB portable Hard Drive , This would make my 20th seagate hard drive and I still need more space lol

This external hard drive is an excellent value and we just brought it home and plugged it in and it works beautifully. I highly recommend getting this to backup your computer and store files that are not frequently used or that need to be shared with others.

I've only used this thing once (I back my files up every 3 months) but it worked as it was supposed to. This was an upgrade from a USB 2.0 external drive. The transfer speed was a lot faster than before -- very impressive. It's nice and compact, also a nice change from my previous clunky hard drives. I gave it a 5 because it worked. For MAC users, beware -- you have to reformat it -- a little confusing but I got it to work. I wouldn't say there's anything special about this over another external hard drive. I just found the best deal on a name brand and bought it.

I actually bought 2 of these drives for 2 different reasons. The first one I immediately voided the warranty and took apart to use as a replacement drive for the small 500 gb drive in my ps4. It worked flawlessly using the same process many others have used to upgrade their ps4's the 2tb drives. The other drive I hooked up to my Xbox One S for added storage, and it works great for that as well. I've used Seagate drives exclusively for years after watching many Western Digital drives click to death on me, and I've always had great luck with them. Highly recommended
