This is an excellent external hard drive, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in need of one. I like fast it runs, how efficient it is, and the ease of use. It's also slender, very portable and just a great product.

I am using my hard drive for onsite backup of a server. The compact unit makes it easy to transport offsite each night. I would recommend this product to a fellow small business owner wishing to routinely backup his/her computers.

I was looking for a higher capacity slim portable hard drive at economical price and this seagate drive fits the bill perfectly. The software interface is easy to use and allows one to create ones own back up schedule too.

I used this to upgrade my ps4. easy to get out of the case and to install in the ps4. Now I have 2tb of storage for $90, compared to a 2tb laptop hard drive (which you can't find at a best buy store), that costs about $150.00

I bought this to replace a failed external drive used for backing up a Mac Server. Easy to configure as a Time Machine. It has been working for several months with no issues.

Ok. Didn't use this for its intended purpose, instead I stripped out the 2GB drive and replaced a 500GB drive in a PS4. It worked perfectly for that and it was a great carrier for the 500GB drive after the swap as well.

I bought this for work purposes. They had a more expensive one that was already set up for Mac. Luckily, an awesome worker told me how to set up this one for my computer. Took about 30 seconds, and saved me around $15.

It was time to replace my external HD which I use to back up my desktop files etc and this 2 T HD from Seagate is the answer. I love its portability and the fact that its just plug and play without needing another power cord.

When I bought my external hard drive, I was skeptical on its performance because of how compact it was. I quickly realized that my hard drive not only had enough memory but it stored my files and performed flawlessly.

I've been able to fill this with hours and hours of video footage from work, and I'm pleased to see that I still have plenty of space left. This is an excellent backup storage option for the most important projects.

There isn't much to say except that this backup hard drive was fast using the USB 3 connector on my Windows Pc. I am very happy with it & would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a small, portable & fast SSD.

Excellent Portable Hard Drive by Seagate. This will be my 3rd one over the years. None of them have ever failed me. I would recommend Seagate products to everyone.

The Seagate backup+ slim 2TB external USB hard drive is by far the best drive I have purchased. It is incredibly easy to use (basically plug and play) without having to download software drivers or create a password (unlike the WD easystore backup). Too bad that BestBuy is no longer offering this drive and I am forced to look at online e-tailers where I would prefer to shop with BestBuy in person.

I purchased this backup drive to expand the storage of my XBox One. It was on sale so I gave it a try. Within 10 minutes of opening the box it was setup and working. It's small, silent and does it's job. Great product!

when my iMac hd crashed, I used this to boot up the computer from after installing the operating system. It did the trick! Plenty of space, and saved me $ until I absolutely need a new desktop.

I love that this model comes in different colors. I color code my back-ups now: photos, work, videos. Easy formatting for Mac or PC, it is quite fast and reliable. I've never been disappointed with my Seagate drives.
