this has helped me to back up many files. It also helped me to download files onto my laptop so that I can watch movies and listen to my music.

Very simple and portable...formatted for PC...bit of extra work for mac formatting, not really an issue...was expected...will need to go online for install driver...process is explained...I use for a central storage bank for personal videos to keep my internal drive freed up...as well as sharing videos with others...pretty much plug & play...

Have purchased a previous Seagate external drive. I knew, when I selected this model, it would serve my needs. Its easy and does the job.

Got this for my Xbox One and it's working great. The Xbox formatted it automatically when I hooked it up and it was ready to go. Very convenient that it doesn't need a power source and just powers up along with the Xbox. Highly recommended.

I brought this compact drive with me on an overseas vacation to backup my pictures during my trip. Very small size to carry along, but has a large storage capacity. Worked flawlessly. I am not sure why they don't carry these drives in the stores any longer though. I had to order it on-line and had it within 5 days.

I really like the compact size. As soon as I plugged it into the USB it's internal programming came right up. Very easy to configure and use. I mainly use it to store personal files instead of on my work computer but I think I'm going to use it a back up. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to register at Seagate before using.,

I use this for everything to keep memory on my computer clear. I have 3 of these, love them. work great for Macs and PCs.

Picked this up as a backup photo storage. Taking photos daily I can fill up things fast and having another place to store them is great.

Works awesome. I used it to expand my PlayStation 4's internal memory and have been using it without issues for a couple of months now!
