If you need to back up your documents, pictures, movies, music etc. this is the product to have. I've purchased other backup products over the years and been totally unsatisfied. I have two Seagate's and highly recommend them for performance and reliability. When I need my information that I've backed up, it's actually there. It is a very easy product to use.

I can back up all my pictures videos onto this back up drive when I get the new iPhones i get the 128gb and I have had 3 128 gb phones over the years from upgrading so I put so much gigs on this approx 400gb and it didn't even use much of my back up on this drive. They make this in a 1tb a 2tb which I have both they also make a 3 4 and 5. This is a must have product and us worth every penny trust me. 5 stars overall satisfaction I loveeee it!

My Xbox One game console was getting a bit short of memory. Purchased this portable hard drive and connected to the USB port on the game console. It only took a few minutes to format the drive and Adjust some minor settings on the game console. Everything went great, with no hitches. I Have been using this unit for two months and have had no complications.

It stores a lot, is very fast to receive the transfer of files and so far so good....good product for the money! I am a photographer with boocoos of picture files that take up all my laptop macbook space and so I transfered them all onto this back up drive and it held all of it with 3/4 of the space left for more!....love it and it's a nice size and nice looking, to carry in my handbag or briefcase or camera bag.....recommend.

I am using this as a replacement for my prior back since that ran out of space. I have found the Seagate drives work well with Macs because they offer software support to not allow the drive to sleep when Idle to long which was a problem with another brand prior. Works great and it was a great price (on sale). Love the small size and since it is backup drive the 5400 pro is fast enough for the convince of the smaller size.

It's an external HDD, it's 2tb, it's USB 3.0. All the boxes checked and so far so good. Nice price.

This is a really simple and reliable drive to use. The price, size and ease of use are worth it.

Everyone kept telling me Seagate was the best brand to buy when it came to external hard drives and so I took a chance and bought this one which was 2TB in storage. I've had it for over a year and though it's mostly full, it's not completely full. I still use it for storing other files and haven't had problems using it for my Mac or PC. Great buy, even for the price and Best Buy does often have sales for Seagate hard drives.

I fortunately purchased Geek Squad full warranty and service when I purchased my ASUS Custom Laptop last year! The Geek team installed Windows 10 recently with me online and linked in my new Seagate 2TB USB storage backup hardware/software plus the Geek team also set up my online storage to share the files and uploads. How much better do you expect! It runs like a fine jeweled Swiss watch - perfectly! Cheers!

We bought this particular drive based on a recommendation on The Wirecutter. It works perfectly so far with zero issues. We did end up reformatting the drive (Mac OS Extended) for use on Mac, but other than that, it didn't require any setup. The drive itself is very compact and light and slips into most small pockets on a laptop bag. Ours didn't come with a little neoprene case or anything of that sort (like some other drives I've seen), but a case would be a good idea if you carry it around with you often.

I had a couple of other drives I was using for different purposes, and wanted to consolidate all that to one drive. So I knew I needed at least 1 TB. So I started looking and saw the 2TB at a great price at other retailers. I had some BB gift cert that I wanted to use so I used their online price match chat and they matched the price no problem. So I was able to get all that stuff onto one drive. I then used the 2 500gb drives I had as extra storage for my PS4 Pro, and XBOX One X. Worked out great. The drive is light and thin, with a nice matte black finish. The transfer speeds are VERY fast, and Ive had to issues with connectivity, or any other issues either. Great drive and at a great price after the price match. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great portable hard drive.

Ok, so I used this only for extending the storage on my XBOX One. It does what it's supposed to do and I will note that load times are most definitely faster from the USB 3.0 device vs the onboard controller. This is known and well documented. If you're looking for something sleek and small to add to your XBO or any other device, this will definitely work well for you. I've got two of them with zero issues.

Not only does the hard drive work in it's original form to connect to a PC as a USB hard drive just fine. I also decided to follow a YouTube guide to open the enclosure and remove the hard drive, then open the PS4 and remove and replace the built in 500gb hard drive with this hard drive, giving my PS4 2TB of storage rather than the built in 500GB. I was also able to put the PS4's 500gb hard drive in the enclosure that came with this purchase and continue to use it as an external 500gb USB hard drive. This is one versatile purchase! I targeted this exact model because it was the model that was used successfully and mentioned in the YouTube video I watched for upgrading the PS4 hard drive. I have nothing negative to say about this product. Great price and value. p.s. If you are not a fan of Seagate hard drives, do not fear, the hard drive inside is actually a Samsung hard drive.

I bought this product as I was experiencing issues with my mac book pro while traveling, so I quickly wanted to perform a full system backup. This product was very easy to setup and I was backing up within minutes. The product is small so it is easy to carry along on trips if I ever need to recover while on the road.

I was getting this to expand the storage space in my PS4, and after reading reviews online. I'm glad I did! I caught this on sale for $80 which is a steal for how much storage space you're getting. Switching it out with the old one was really easy, and now I have plenty of space to last me a lot longer. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their PS4 storage space.
