I hooked this product up to my MacBook Air, and had to format it for a Mac. Easy as pie.

The Seagate Backup Plus Slim 4TB gives me lots of room to store my pictures and videos file. I totally recommend this to anyone!

I bought the 2 TB Seagate portable drive awhile ago and it works great. I needed a additional one and went back to Best buy to get another 2 TB drive. I notice they had the 4 TB on sale for $119 so, I bought it and I'm glad I did. 4 TB for that price is great and the drive works really good. Can't go wrong for that price.

This is perfect. 4TB and Best Buy price matched it to Amazon and then offered an extra 10%. Best Buy has been awesome to me.

Very compact, large capacity, all at a great price.

It was very easy to open it and hook it up to my xbox one. You just plug into the usb drive and you will be good to go

I bought this drive as a mobile backup to my information. I love the drive. The USB 3.0 is very fast and drive is reliable.

Fast transferring of photos I wanted saved. I recommend to anyone who has a large amount of data needing to be transferred. I had over 7000 photos and it only took about an hour. Easy to use, and only has one cord that leads to the computer, which is nice.

My initial impression of the Seagate Backup Plus was that it was just going to be a throwaway Hard Drive for being so cheap. Also I wasn't going to use this as a back up drive I was going to use it to store normal files. I had to reformat the Hard Drive so that it wasn't just be a back up drive (which was quite easy) and now I use it everyday to transfer files on my Macbook Pro. It definitely is worth a buy for the cheap price and amount of storage available on it!

Was looking a large external drive for the XBONE that didn't need an external power supply. This fit the bill. It is replacing the similar Backup Plus Slim 2TB unit that I was using. It is basically the same unit but as the actual drive is thicker, the unit is thicker. A fair amount thicker, but since it is going to be out of the way, the size didn't really matter as long as it was quiet and worked well with the XBONE (going into and out of sleep mode). It has some other backup and cloud capabilities if you are using it with a PC or Mac but I formatted it as I won't be using it, but could be useful. The Xbox branded one from Seagate is more expensive for some reason (maybe the green shell costs more) :)

I have purchased several Seagate portable hard drives from 500GB to this 4TB drive and have always been well served.

Having to retire old archive drives, it is nice to be able to have the room to put all of the files I have onto one drive. Easy to set up and use. Plus the red looks cool. I've never had an issue with Seagate drives (2 of the smaller drives I have had for several years). Very reliable.

This drive works great with all my apple products. It allows me to backup all systems to a single location with no problems. I live this 4T drive.

My storage needs continue to grow. The Seagate Backup Pluse 4T fits the bill. It is small, portable and reasonably fast. I've had this item almost 2 months now. I use it for general file storage. Pros: large disc space, small/portable, doesn't require additional power source. Cons: None found yet.

This is a great pproduct to back up all your files and pictures! The price per Terabyte is great too!

I bought this to replace my 2TB hard drive and its about the same size. I like not having to use ac to power it.

This drive works great as a media storage device connected to my computer. The performance is top notch.

I'm a photographer, so having backup storage is super important when photos can quickly take up a lot of space on my computer. It's small enough to be able to carry on a regular basis (in my purse) or keep in my laptop bag for easy access to saved images.
