I've had too many bad experiences with drives failing. Good for the last couple weeks though. Good thing I backup to 3 different locations.

This product works very well so far. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was that it doesn't have an installed security password option.

This was a lot harder than i thought to work with a Macbook Pro. it would take many hours to sync after having to download extra software.

the hard drive quickly corrupted and I lost all my data. I bought another, and the same thing happened.

This HD didn't work for movies and shows for my TV, but I'm sure it's a great backup HD for your computer.

It's what you would generally expect. The minimum character requirement for reviews is silly.

I am a video editor and this stores all my video footage when traveling. It's fast and secure.

So the drive is huge but it turns out to just be average in terms of performance...

I am receiving error messages on some of my files. This worries me tremendously.

Bought this hard drive and it simply stopped working less than a month after i purchased it . Was outside of 15 days so was unable to return it to best buy, but im out of 120 dollars now .

I have trouble locating my photo I not sure where they go

The product has a number of both design and program defects. First, the USB connector fails all the time - disconnect from computer or does not connect at all. It doesn't stay firm on the unit as well. I have had Transcend storage device, which I use more than 8 years now and never had such issue. I wasn't able to find one with 4GB storage, though. Second, most of my files in the storage device were not opening any more. I had very important and valuable documents which I lost. The files are either corrupt or I get a message that file extension is not correct. When I look at the size of these files, it is only showing 0 kb, which means I lost them. Therefore, if you have important file to store, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Performance good. The upload and download speed works perfect

Wanted to upgrade my PS4 pro.. Wasn't compatible at all...

good product, cant get it to work properly...maybe its me.

Security system wasn't capable of using this hard drive

On sale good price, comes with good warranty coverage

The cable connecting to the hard drive was so loose that with the slightest touch it would disconnect from the computer. Hard drive not much use if it won't stay connected

do not buy this !! worked perfect for my movies everyday for 35days. one day worked perfect, next day completely stopped working, cant even read it long enough to recover some thing from all of my backed up movie, family pic etc..UNRECOVERABLE !!! AND THIS WAS MY MAIN BACKUP OF YEARS AND YEARS OF PHOTOS, , IMPORTANT DOCS, VIDEOS ALL GONE!!
