Nice storage for backing up computer

4TB model hard to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a Seagate Backup Plus of 1TB for a couple of years back (1D8APB-500 1TB) and it has been a good experience. That's why I bought this 4TB model. But it was a disappointment. 1) You'll have to install additional Paragon NTFS software to make it work with Mac. (The 1TB model I got just worked) 2) copying speed is about half of that of the 1TB model. 3) I'll need to wait for over 5 minutes for the disk to unmount.

Love this drive

I am using this one on a desktop machine so I don't need to have the 2.5" version but I chose this one because it is simply a good price for the convenience of it. Good and fast too. Enjoying it very much.

Just what I needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a second 4TB external hard drive as a double back up and this one is great so far. I like that it gets it's power through the USB and doesn't need an extra power cable. It works just fine and it still works with my USB 2 as well.
