Another external hard drive that I use for backup is smaller and hence needs compression. Hence, the proper decompression software is needed for recovery. This large 4TB external drive allows me to just drag and drop without compression. The device is absolutely simple to use.

4TB of storage for Xbox One. I was looking at the officially branded one, and it was almost twice the price for the same storage. This is an upgrade from a desktop Toshiba Canvio 2TB, that had problems being recognized. This Seagate 4TB works great with the Xbox One, no problems at all.

A good size drive for backing up your files a must for anyone with a game system tablet or what ever. just know that it has a fairly short cable and no your not going to be using any standard cable it is a proprietary cable if i'm not mistaken so don't lose it.

I want a reasonably priced portable hard drive that I could take on the road. I travel at least once a week and work in an industry where I need something that is capable of storing large media files. I have a Mac and didn't have any issues installing the necessary .dmg file in order to make this an easy transition. I'll update after a few months as I just bought this back in mid-September but so far, so good!

This is one of the better external drive options - high capacity, small form factor, USB3 -and- a 2 year warranty.I purchase multiples of these for a rotating server backup and have had no issues with these. Nice and small for offsite transport (via Insignia hard shell case)

I am using this drive as a Time Machine backup drive on my Apple iMac. The drive has been plugged into my iMac for the last six months with no issues. Love the small size and the self-powered USB. I'm considering purchasing a second one for additional storage.

With newer cameras, digital photo files are growing larger. Instead of loading large photo files into my hard drive I chose this 4tb drive to keep them I one place. A second drive can be used for backup if you want because the price is attractive.

4 star mainly for price. Cheaper than WD, Although WD have been more reliable for me, this was a lot cheaper. It's pretty quick and requires no initial setup that others had describe. Pretty fast meaning, not as much lag. some of the faster ones seems like my pc can't keep with with the transfer speed. We'll see if this one won't fail on me. It's pretty heavy but compact in size. Extremely quiet.
