I've always been a big fan of Seagate hdd's. They have always performed very well for me and never had an issue with one. Now that they have portable 3.0 hdd's, that just makes me happy. The amount of storage you have in such a small space is just amazing.

I bought this drv to use for backup. Works great. Have made several backups with no issues.

I do a lot of traveling so I take a lot of photos which creates the need for more storage as my computer has limited space on it. This Seagate backup plus external hard drive fits the bill perfectly. It is easy to use, is compact yet has great storage capability.

I've bought several of these Seagate 4TB drives and they haven't failed me yet. Since it's 4TB, it'll be thicker than 1TB/2TB drives. I believe these Seagate drives can also be "shucked" to remove the external case in order to use the internal drive as a standard SATA drive. This can be helpful in case the USB interface breaks or doesn't function for any reason.

A Seagate Backup Plus 4TB was formatted then connected via USB to a TimeCapsule to provide extra TimeMachine backup space. Initially working great for about a week then the TimeMachine backup to the Backup Plus would fail verification every few days. The Backup Plus drive was reformatted a second time. No problems since. Hopefully it will be durable. Thus only 4 stars instead of 5.

This product is great for expanding the Xbox One's memory to contain more games and apps. It was easy to format and set up in minutes. I would highly recommend this external hard drive for anyone interested and having a large number of games on their hard drive.

I doubled my storage capacity moving from a 2 GB to a 4 GB Seagate. I loved the 2 GB model so I bought this. So much of my data is on the cloud by necessity but I really hate not having it on a hard drive. This is the perfect solution. Lots of space and portable.

The drive is quick with USB 3.0 and has plenty of space at 3.7TB of formatted storage.

It works as expected. it was very easy to order online and pick it up from Best Buy.

No Etra effort to use the plug the hard disk and easy to use it anywhere

Has actual SATA header inside, but drive is 15mm. Solid performance, reliable so far.

i recently bought this hd to hold all my extra files i didn't want clogging up and slowing down my main hd on my computer and to give my dropbox a folder to sync with. and so far so good i have had ZERO issues with this hd. it works flawlessly.

Plenty of room to store photos plus go pro footage shot with Protune on, 2.7 k. Storing video on the Seagate 4tb frees up my computer to run the editing programs needed for the large video files shot with Protune on. Simple solution, easy to use.

I really like the reliability of the Seagate drives. Never had a problem for years. Good storage -I use it as a network drive at home on my network and can back up four computers easily. also great for sharing files. can even unplug and take to work.

Can't complain, good look, easy to use. Could bet thinner nut still good product.

Small device and it works really fast, and actually good brand. Highly recommended.
