Easy to install with the USB cable. I used disk utility on my MAC to mount and format the drive after I downloaded the suggested driver and it failed to do so. No real problem, but odd. Easy drag and drop. Speedy transfers. I think it's an excellent drive.

Great Large Capacity Drive

The one downside to it is that it will not work on my Sony blu-ray player. Apparently most blu-rays don't have the power to run such a large HDD. So I am now using this drive for video storage and have to transfer to a different drive when I want to watch it on my Sony blu-ray.

MY BACKUP BUDDY

Super quiet, doesn't heat up, and no external power source needed makes this a stellar hard drive if you want a LOT of storage without taking up a lot of shelf space.

Only hope it does not fail as losing 4TB of data will be a big deal. Seagate's have never quit on me so far so hoping the same here.

Xbox One additional storage

Useful storage

Also I have never had a problem with any Seagate products.

One for personal files and one for photos. It's great to save on space and much easier to organize the same data into multiple files for quicker reference.
