I needed to clear some things off of my computer. I've been able to do so with no problems with this device. I would definitely recommend this to anyone else.

I still think this hard drive is portable but you have to notice that is not thin like the Slim version. However it has 4TB and you won't need a power supply just the USB3 cable. I recommend it

This is a device that did exactly what I needed. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking to increase their storage capacity for their PS4/Xbox one

I am a Mac user and have always gone with Seagate for my back up needs. It works fine and if need be, can be formatted via Mac's formatting tools easily. This time though, I'm actually using the hard drive as an extended storage for my PS4 and my Playstation formatted it perfectly and have not had any issues what so ever. The design is sleek and easy to carry if need be.

I had Western digital Mybook for the back up my files. compare to that one this seagate back up is compact , small and fast I hope it stays like that.

No complaints. I have been using the drive for over 3-months without a glitch. This is expected since I own a previous 1TB drive which is a workhorse.

Used on MacOS, so needed to reformat for Mac, not a problem. Great write speed even over USB 2.0 Bus. Needed large, portable storage - this works perfectly.

This is one of many Seagate HD's I've purchased and I have never been disappointed. I use it to store Mp4's and it works great. It's compact and fast!

so we needed a quality back-up harddrive to copy all our files to . We have done that task and now continue to update our back-up on a regular basis .

Always loved Seagate, great amount of storage and fast access. I bought this specifically to backup all my pictures and works as expected.

I shoot a great deal of raw video and photos for tourism and business. This has helped store both original and edited content. Backup is on another one.
