Perfect solution for saving a copy of my old laptop when buying a new one. Lots of space for all those photo files, too. Good value for the money.

I bought the Seagate 4TB drive to record video surveillance. The unit has been powered on 24 hours a day for the past 30 days. No problems so far.

This drive has been perfect for our needs to carry around our work and photo libraries while on the go. So much easier than taking a desktop drive, especially with the convenience of being able to work in the car without plugging in a power adapter. We can just plug it into our computer and work off that power. No problems whatsoever with the drive so far.

Seagate drives work much better then western digital drives of the same size. If you were on the fence with which brand to go with use Seagate!

I have owned or used many dozens of 1, 2, 3 and 4 TB Drives. About 30+ Seagates, and 5 WD, one Hitatchi. Of those not one of the WD is now working, nor is the Hitatchi. I have never had even one of the Seagates fail to work, I am sold on quality of the construction. I used these in my work over 15+ years same results. My disk of choice for off site backups.

Not only is this USB drive fast, but its reliable. This is the third one I've purchased, and have not had a problem in 3 years.

I have several of these and use them to back up files for work until they fill up and then I archive the drive. I like the 4 TB Seagate Backup plus for its small size, reliability and good value. The drives are not fast, but I’m willing to make the compromise for the reasonable price and reliability.

I am always nervous about where I store my files and photos and I generally keep two back ups of everything but I am less worried about it with this hard drive. I have used it long term and had one similar to it before this one and both have never given me any cause for concern. Also I had dropped it a few times and everything still works.

Would recommend, huge capacity, easy to sync and does not take up much space. Never lose any photos, videos or files again!!

I got this to put all my gopro videos on to free up space in my computer been using it for a few months it goes every were in my bag small compact and 4t of space wow works great if i fill this one up ill be getting a nother one was looking at a rugged hard drive but for the space and the price this one had the best reviews very happy
