External hard drive , The best thing I’ve ever bought in yes I wouldn’t recommend it to everybody!

I couldn't believe when I maxed out a 3tb hard drive, so this time I got a 4tb. That should solve it!

I am really enjoying this device. I am happy with my purchase.

Got this 4TB for 110 after tax, and it's great value, but it is a little thick though. Can't fit this in a jeans pocket.

I've had this drive since 2019 and it recently failed. It refuses to power up any more. I'd stay away from HDD backup drives and stick with SSD.

I bought this for my MACBOOK PRO. Was working perfect until a apple software update on my Mac. Completely stop recognized it. I have know clue how to repair or fix now.

Got it during thanks giving. Good product at a Cheap price. Good speed and extra slim. less weight to carry.

Just bought this and so far all I can tell is that it is painfully slow transferring files.

Had this for 1 month and then went bad. Used it for my photo back up. Started making clicking noise and within a week of that it would not open. I have been told before about how terrible Seagate products are but this is really bad. Seriously, don't buy. Its totally not worth your time to have to redo everything, if you recover everything.

The first drive that I bought started making clicking noises a couple of weeks after purchasing. Like the drive head was trying to park twice a second. This would continue non-stop until the drive was re-plugged. If any applications were using the drive when this started, they would slow to a crawl and become unusable. I swapped the first drive with another one of the same type, and it started doing the same thing within a month. Now I'll be looking to replace this drive with another one from a different manufacturer. Won't be buying Seagate again.

These cables are sooooo fragile. You move it a little and it breaks and then you can't access your files anymore and you have to get it fixed or it breaks off, or you have to buy a new one. This has happened 3 times already. These things are garbage. If they'd use different cables and if they really kept my files safe, I'd give it 5 stars, but this is ridiculous.

Do not count this as a one star rating. It's a zero star rating. This hard drive is literally 2 months old, manufactured 10/2016. I have had it for a week. It no longer works. I know this could happen with any mechanical hard drive of any brand but come on 2 months old and it's done. I will no longer be using Seagate hard drives for any custom builds or external storage. Probably best to avoid Seagate products. I will not be sending this back to Seagate but to Best Buy for a refund

Windows 7 won't restart when this drive is plugged in. Seagate support page says the drive must be unplugged to reboot PC. Terrible!! PC won't restart upon power failure, windows update, or similar.

Don't but this. After 6 months I was given choice to reformat (lose) only do not buy!!!!
