Cant beat the price for a portable unit with 4GB storage

Very good, sleek and compact. easy to use and carry around.

I have started using these little drives for back up storage. I label each one with the category of photos stored on each and then switch them out when I back up files. Because they don't have to be plugged in, like the desktop drives, it makes it much easier to switch them out. And, for a portable drive, they are reasonably fast.

Great amount of storage for the price, easy to use

I saw some reviews stating this drive problematic for them but I have yet to see any issues with it. I needed something to backup my media and my computer backups and it works perfectly. It's quiet, small, and doesn't require a separate power supply so it's great for carrying around with you. It doesn't take up any space at home either.

Was purchased for my son's laptop AFTER we realized the reason his computer was so cheap was because it did not have a drawer that opened for inserting discs.) Mom's a real tech wiz, can't you tell? This worked until he stepped on his computer and cracked the screen. Actually, the hard drive still works, even if the laptop doesn't.

I have a few Seagate drives. They are all still functioning, but needed a larger one to consolidate files and archives. Works great. The other Seagate drives I own have gone through some serious power surges, which I have fixed with some home/electrical updates. They still work like champs.

Needed drive to backup files from one PC and transfer to external drive on a PC at another location. This works great - has speed of USB 3.0, yet doesn't require external power brick so it is easy to connect/disconnect without hassle of needing external power source. Price very competitive and 4TB much more spacious than usual 2TB.

Great storage for the money. It's been reliable thus far.

Easy to use, backed up all my photos, lots of space

I had a ton of old tv shows and cartoons downloaded that I split between several USBs. I was looking for one consolidated space to store everything and watch off. Picked this up for a great price. Now I have hundreds of hours worth of things to watch with plenty of space left for more.

I love how slim it is and the amount of memory it holds.

Was looking for a Western Digital with the configuration within these size and capability parameters, but this Seagate would have been my second choice. The store carried in stock this unit and so far it has worked flawlessly. The unit has the storage space I was looking for, USB 3.0 connectivity and impressive transfer speeds.
