As a photographer this is prefect for when I'm shooting out in the field. I have the peace of mind knowing my photos are safely backed up immediately. It's built nice and sturdy. I accidentally dropped a couple of time and still works like a champ unlike one I had from another brand name.

The reason why I bought it was because it was on sale. Can't believe the price for such a large space portable hard drive. I put it onto my router and acted it as a network shard drive and it worked great. I can put as many files I want and don't need to worry about the space any more.

I like the size of the hard drive, its easy to put in a backpack and not take up a lot of space.

Bought for my wife's mac laptop to store her photos. So far is working great. Only reason for 4 stars is it seems to run a little warmer than other disks she has used and filled up.

It's very nice hard drive for the price cannot beat it. I format it too EXFAT to make it both compatible format for MAC and PC and working excellent on my mac I recommend format it on Windows PC EXFat to make it both compatible. 4TB is ton's of space I can fit a lot of data on 1 drive....

Don't know how to review the item realistically as the real import is how long will it last before failure. I would assume at least 5 to 7 years and I"m only in the first month.

Transfer is fast an efficient. I've actually been working from the hard drive because it is so fast.

We are using one of these to hold eBooks and the other holds videos. A real space saver, and especially handy when traveling, we can take what would be many bookshelves full of books and videos in a well padded box under 1 square ft. for safety. We may get a third for music.

Very much needed! My son plays a bunch of games and a 500 gb xbox one doesnt store as much as you would think ( at least i didnt ). Now we can all play our favorite games and not have to worry about not having enough space. Thinking of buying one to store all my pictures on.

This external hard drive is exactly what I was looking for just to back up my computer and it's multiple drives. It is small and handy and also backs up the computer pretty quickly. As far external hard drives go, I can't ask for anything more so it gets 5 stars from me.

This is the perfect priced item to take care of all your backups requirements in your house. You can either use the supplied backup program or your own. Be sure to keep your backup drive(s) unplugged to prevent any potential ransomware problems.

I have several of these 4 TB Seagate portable hard drives. They work well to store windows images of different computers as well as large video files and back up files. Now that hard drives on computers are larger, more space is needed for back up, and this device provides a reasonably-priced way to do so. The fact that this one is blue rather than black makes it easier to distinguish from the others.

My computer was running slow and I needed to move all of my pictures somewhere else. I decided to buy an external hard drive. My brother-in-law recommended I get a lot and I did. I have moved all of my files and freed up space on my computer. Very happy with my purchase.,
