So far, the external hard drive is doing what's it's supposed to do - what more can one ask.

Love this for backing up all my pictures & videos from all my gadgets including my laptop...allows me to take more pictures with my smartphone and knowing if my laptop crashes (again), this time my pictures are already backed up and saved :) and plenty more space :)

I have had many issues in the past with WD hard drives and finally got rid of them completely and went with the Seagate and so far so good. I have had no issues with it and it immediately comes up on any desktop or laptop that it is plugged into. Great size as well.

I have been procrastinating about backing up my computer fro years! Finally I went and just bought it. 4TB memory! Couldn't even imagine that much memory just a few years ago. Simple to use and now I am feeling much better about not losing all those photos and files.

Got a 4TB hard drive to back up my mac and my photos. I used to own a 500gb and it ran out of space so 4TB should last me a few years. the program in the installation guide was not necessary. I just formatted the hard drive and used time machine with it on my mac.

The 4TB Seagate is probably the most reliable consumer portable HD you can buy. This drive has the lowest failure rate of the thousands of drives used 24/7x365 by Backblaze (www.backblaze.com). That says a lot!

Sent this portable HD up to college with my son for laptop backup and file storage. The drive is performing well and has lots of capacity to backup 2 or 3 computers with room left over for personal files.

This is a great little drive. I use it for backup of my raid array. It is big and fast enough to complete the incremental job in a little over 4 hours on a 2.7 TB system. And it's removable, so I can store a copy off site once in a while. The price was very good.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this external hard drive. It's a great value for the amount of space you get and seems speedy enough over USB 3.0. Docking a star because it appears to be incompatible with my router's networked HD options. Would greatly prefer to use it that way instead of hooking up to each computer, but that may also be an issue with my router. It takes two to tango, though.

I bought this as extra storage for my full Xbox one. It was super simple to set up. Make sure the Xbox is already on when you plug it up and it does the rest.

Better than expected. needed to expand my xbox mem. did not want to spend close to the same for less mem. for the Microsoft one. Great expansion option, plug n play. Downloads program/files faster than placing them on the Xbox it's self. GREAT PURCHASE!!!!!1

I make a lot of paintball videos and those videos chew up hard drive space on my computer. Having this portable hard drive is an incredible help for what I use it for. I have a Surface Pro 4 rhat it works with. Now I have an abundance of space for videos.

This is the 4th external drive in use on my PC and a great addition for backup data and photo storage. I use one as project storage which make it easy to take on site for meetings and reviews. Fast storage and error free to date.

I have used a number of External hard drives over the years of which this 4TB drive is the largest. I is very convenient to copy large amount of data without having to use data compression.I have noy had any problems whatsoever with the drive

It works and the speed is ok. It is pretty large for a portable disk drive for it's size and disk size.
