Had over a year. Works great. Really glad it uses a standard cable. Have some WD drives that use a non standard one that I have lost. This is much better.

Great little unit - no power cable, powered by USB hub. We use two of these for each powered 3-4TB drives. Double redundant backups of critical data are a MUST in our business.

Considered buying a Blu-Ray writer but found this instead. When you consider the cost of writable discs this is a far better deal. Who says size doesn't matter...it's huge!

Seagate is a great brand and it shows on this hard drive. It has plenty of room at a decent price. Had it for a while and have made plenty of backups without a problem.

In my work I use many videos and photos, I bought several of this model and are well portable, easy to use, just a cable and ready. And the truth are very portable.
