I opened up the box and plugged in the external drive and I was off and running. I also set up recurring backups with ease and they have been performing as expected.

I can't comment on the longevity of this because I have only used it for a few days, but so far so good, very easy to set up. Copies everything over fine- does what it needs to do. I have always used Seagate drives because they have good customer service.

This is a great product at a great price. Mine came with a free 2 year 200 GB One Drive subscription. What could be better than having remote access to important files?

This is a great product for a storage device. I have it connetced to my Linkedsys WRT1900ACS router to use as a NAS drive. Works effortlessly and is super fast.

Purchased this 4TB HDD for my Xbox1 games. This is my second Seagate HDD and have not had any problems. I’ve had success with Seagate Portable HDDs with my Xbox. I would recommend this HDD for game system storage and any pictures.

This drive works great and I recommend getting a case for it as well to protect it. I bought the WD case and it fits very well and has netting for the cable.

The slim design is great for minimum space yet 4T holds lots of pictures, documents, or whatever you need to back up. We prefer Seagate for external back-ups.
