I have used this for about a month now, and have not had any problems so far.

I do not go a day without having this plugged into my computer. For Mac users: Be sure to format the HD when you first plug it into your computer.

I've been using the Seagate brand for years, without any issues, so when Best Buy had this on sale, I picked one up. Works great. Nice portable backup drive. Heats up a bit, but I don't leave it plugged in for very long, so I'm not concerned.

I have several portable Seagate hard drives to back up data. When I run low on space, I get another. Seagate is my favorite brand for hard drives.

I have found it a bit complicated to set up with my Mac. But its a great option for storage. Just purchased a Mini Mac and will now put this one to work even more.

I bought this HD to have for a backup. It suits my needs and I can access it from my pc or my mac with no problems using an NTFS app on my mac.
