Got this for the external hardrive update for my ps4. works great now i don't have to delete games as often to make room for new ones.

I've been using one of these for a long time with no problems, so I bought a second one and hope to get the same degree of reliability.

It was very easy to hook up to my xbox one. Easily migrated all my games to the hard drive and they now load faster speeding up game play.

Purchased the drive as a back-up and storage drive for use during a 3-week trip. No issues with software and the drive worked as expected.

This is a very good deal for the memory size and price. The hard drive worked on both USB 2.0 and 3.0. I will get more when this fills up.

The hard drive works well now but the start up initializing programs prevented my MacBook Pro from using the device. I ended up erasing the whole drive and initializing with Apple's disk management. Now things are running great.

The drive works fine, uploads/downloads pretty fast and is just the right size for easy transportation. The only issue is sometimes the computer won't recognize the drive when you plug it in. At first we thought it was something with the drive itself, so we exchanged it for another one and had the same issue. After doing some digging on the web we learned it's a pretty common problem with this model of drive and had to update the drivers on the computer. It works now most of the time but sometimes you have to plug and unplug it from the computer a couple times before it recognizes its there.

I purchased this external for the specific purpose of storing family photos. I have added it to my system and I am very pleased so far

I moved most of my old files to this portable HDD without any problem. Still have a lot of space left for my music collection. Good buy.

This product was easy to setup. It is convenient to use and efficiently backs up my data without any problems.

If you want space I deffinetely recommend this for your PS4. Although you have to make a slight modification on the HDD bay on the PS4.

This device was fair priced and had a huge amount of storage. I bought it for my boyfriend and he uses it all the time for backups.

It works great, no problems. I'm using it to install steam games so it wont take up apace on my computer and it's great.

I use this as a backup disk for my NAS. It serves as a fast local backup to compliment my external backup solutions. I bought it to replace an old 3.5" backup external disk I had been using. The chief benefit is that it is powered directly from the USB, runs at USB3 speeds, and has a small form factor. At 4TB has more than adequate space to keep months of snapshots of my server. This is the third Seagate Plus that I have bought. My desktop and laptop each have a 2TB disk used for time machine backups as well.
