Its USB 3 so its very quick. I wish it came with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 cable for those PC's that do not have USB-A ports. I use it for my professional photo storage and it works beautifully!

I've had this external hard drive for about a year, using it for my XboxOne. It was easy to set up, and the transferring of multiple games took a few hours. Haven't had any issues with it.

This hard drive is much faster than my USB thumb drive when moving large amount of video data for back up storage. I was able to achieve 20+ MEG/s while my old USB drive can only manage 9 MEG/s.

After having 2 WD drives fail on me I switched to Seagate and have been happy ever since. I love the plug and play feature and its light enough that I can carry it with me wherever I go.

I haven't even opened the box it is sitting on a shelf in my closet. My mom is in hospice and I don't have time. I am sure it is great I'm just trying to fill out this review so this email will go away. I enjoy the products from Best Buy 99% of the time. I hope this is enough words by now

I was frustrated with how often I had to free up space from my Xbox One's memory every time I had a new game to install so I started looking around for an external hard drive. With this 4GB external hard drive I don't have to worry about uninstalling and reinstalling games for a while now!

I will say this does the basic job which I bought it for. I have not tried any automatic memory programs. I just copy and paste to this product and it works fine. I have no complaints.

It would have been nice if Seagate could have provided better customer support and answered technical questions that I have about the drive but the drive itself works perfectly.

Does the job and is able to store back up data that I need quickly with no fuss. I back up on my work server and for peace of mind, I also back up on this portable hard drive.

It attached to my pc without any problems. Data is copied at a reasonable rate approximately 100MBs (800Mbs). I wish it was faster, but it is acceptable. It only has a 2 yr warranty. I don't think Seagate trusts this drive, but it's similar to other manufacturer warranties.

This is an amazing hard drive, it is very fast and quiet. I use it attached to my router as cloud storage for the family. So far it has done everything I have asked it to do.

Purchased this drive to backup my wife's PC, plugged it in, ran the software and proceeded with full back-up of the PC. Worked flawlessly and search is very quick.

I bought this external hard drive to keep pictures and videos for my kids to look at when they grow older. the 4tb memory is a very good size for files of this type.

4TB is a bit overkill for what I own now, but enough space for my growing game library! I use this with my Xbox One and it's been working great!

This far, this little treasure is working fantastic. It's extremely quiet, runs cool and has no supplemental power supply. I thought this may mean a slow drive but that's not the case. The only drawback is that the USB 3.0 cable is only a few inches long.

This is a great Seagate 4 Terabyte external hard drive. I knew what I wanted when I went online to purchase it so I didn't bother with others reviews.
