Title says it all, other USB 3.0 drives seem to be better at moving data back and forth to and from the drive, this one seems to max out at about 40-60MB Per Second. I was expecting 80-100MB Per second.

The only thing I have to say is that I had to downloaded software to put all my stuff on hard drive.

Love Seagate and their storage media. Use one on a Xbox one and computer back up files

I use this drive along with my new Surface Pro. It works great. It is recognized quickly and the access speed is good.

Easily allows data storage movement and usage between computers in same household a quick movement of backup unit. Increases the usable data on my computer with little loss of data retrieval speed.

I have purchased 4TB hard disk from Best Buy online it's really good deal and received on the same day of booking

I bought this product to use a backup for videos and pictures for a computer that I have that was almost out of space on the hard drive. It is a great little hard drive. Works great so far.

Great for large backups, high capacity and no external power required. Compatible with both USB 2.0 and 3.0.

I am sure it does the job fine, but for mac users I would definitely recommend making sure you buy a Mac pre-formatted Hard Drive. Though it is meant to be simple to reformat, it isn't always.

I love this new hard drive. First thing I did was format it to ExFat, so I can use it on my Mac and my PC both!

This HD has a good space for archive large quantity of files. It's little slow in the file transfer process. The HD has little less than 4 TB capacity.

It has a good data transfer rate, the read on hook up is quick. I would recommend this product. Not sure about how long it will last with the amount of use I am giving it, but only time will tell.

This 4TB portable hard drive is amazing. The internal size is massive with such a small exterior footprint. Love it

Transfer speeds 70 mb/s, not too big, works well. Seagate backup software is slow, online media backup has too much junk and clutter. Seems like a kludge. Just use drive with your own software.

Love it, great product. Definitely recommend this product. i use it to back up my main Lenovo Yoga laptop.

It's an external hard drive. It does what it's supposed to. I bought 3 of them because external hard drives crash.

There isnt anything to complain about, great hdd. only weird thing is the cross use on platforms, it gets weird on the mac because of the NTFS format, for that fix get Paragon NTFS reader v14.

This drive was much smaller than I expected. It also does not require and external power source.

Was a black Friday purchase, Wonderful price at the time. Solid brand, so do not expect any issues with it
