Easy to use. Very compatible with my Mac. Very slim design.

Plug and play Not too much to do except unbox it, plug the power cable into an electrical outlet, connect the USB cable to your computer and you've got a hefty 2TB of storage. The only other thing I had to do was to format it for Macintosh. I use it for my overflow files - data that I need to offload my computers yet still remain accessible. It's fast and quiet. My only complaint is that it's a bit bulky.

When I saw this offer at Best Buy I was sure it was a mistake, but sure enough I was so impressed with the reliability, I have since purchase 5 of these drives for my video editing business. When I'm on the road or on location I need to back up all video files for clients, and these drives have what it takes to get the job done!

The product works great. It is easy to use fast data transfer. Sleek design. Very reasonably priced compared with the competition. I would recommend to buy this product. When my data storage needs increase I will be purchasing another one, or one with larger can passively from the same brand.

The hard drive is small and easy to use. Works with Mac and Windows OS.

The portable drive is very slim and was easily identifiable by mac os. For windows os I had to download the drivers which I thought should have been included. Being a techy it was easy for me but others would freak out if the drive does not show up in windows explorer.

Speed and size were great for 99 bucks. Very slim design.

I have been through computer crashes before and I now back up my data in several places. I wanted an external hard drive as one backup, but I did not want to have to tell it how or what to back up as I don't have the technological know how to do that. This product was almost the same price as the 1TB hard drive and all I had to do was plug it in via USB. The product did all the rest -- set up the driver, backed up everything. I was very pleased with its ease of use, size, and storage space. It appears to be doing a fantastic job! I would highly recommend the Seagate external hard drives.

We purchased the Seagate external hard drive to backup all of our important documents. It is easy to use and reviews said it is a great product. The best part is that now it recognizes what is new whenever we run the backup so it's quick and easy

After running out of space on my Xbox one, I decided to take a look at hard drives. Between this and western digital, the seagate won a large majority of the test in a comparison and this was cheaper the seagate xbox branded harddrive!

Great little device. Easy to transport with all by pictures on board. It seams to take a licken and still keeps ticket.(old Timex slogan) No problem after heavy use. Works great and fast with my Apple Mac book. Compact for travel.

The Seagate Back up Plus Slim 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive has been a very good addition to my computer for back up reasons and keeping my iTunes music and movies all in order. Very good price and very easy to setup.

I bought this light and portable hard drive for my daughter. She is using at College and she is happy because it is very small, but can contain a lot of music, movie and her college works. Plus we saved money using a promotion.

I love this external hard drive. I bought this external drive to store my GoPro videos on it and to keep from filling up my hard drive storage. It is so small that I can keep it in my laptop bag and carry with me. Love it.

I was running out of space on my mac book. I wanted something small and protable but can hold a lot of data. This is the one. I plugged it in and it loads right up.

This external hard drive is easy to use and comes with the necessary cable. Just plug it in and it works! Would recommend this to anyone with a MAC computer.

Arrived on time. Smaller and lighter than I thought which is good. I just plugged it in and started using. I haven't used the software with it but I find it to be an excellent way to back up.

It was easy to set up and install and requires its own power supply. Backed-up my entire computer without any problems the first time tried. The unit makes a little noise (you can tell it is running) but if it is not directly on your work surface it shouldn't be a distraction.

I absolutely love this external hard drive. It came highly recommended from the Best Buy associate helping me pick one out. It's light weight and has plenty of storage for my design files.
