Everything transferred good and worked as expected. I have since transferred the files back to the server and now use it as a back up drive. No issues so far.

Nice for Movie back ups

So far I really like the Seagate brand, I own several different ones and haven't had any issues. I prefer the powered hard drives, over the hot plug ones for fewer fatal errors etc.

Great price but some flaws

However the power cable blew out in a storm, and I had to have the drive repaired at a different point. Would like it to be a little more well made, but haven't had any problems since.
