Efficient performer

I transferred from my 2009 Mac which has a 500 GB hard drive in it. I'm looking to upgrade my OS from Yosemite to El Capitan. I considered the Apple airport but the seagate was less expensive and got the job done! I also note the seagate had a lot of good reviews for it's performance.

I backed up the following for my father-in-law: 1 iMac, 1 MacAir notebook and two phones before my wife and I went on vacation. Upon our return, my father-in-law thought he lost key data from all of his devices. Within a reasonable amount of time, all of his "priceless data" was restored.
