I had a lot of information that I need to backup so I needed a large hard drive. This was perfect and I got it on sale. It was a great deal and is working great!

My 4tb is almost full. Needed something to backup pictures and home movies. I've been eyeing this for a while and when I saw the price drop it was a no brainer.

The Seagate - Backup Plus Hub 8TB External USB 3.0 Desktop Hard Drive is great for storage from, music, videos, photos, games, etc...

This is a connected to PC via USB device. This is not a LAN hard drive out of the box. However, you can connect it to another device that already is a LAN disc.

I've purchased so many external hard drives from Best Buy, it's impossible to keep count. Seagate/WD and G-Force are pretty much the only brands I buy. Best Buy is always competitive price-wise with any other source, such as Amazon, but unlike Amazon, BB is a company that gives back to the communities it serves.

It has unsurpassed storage potential 8TB. I've had it for about a month. I'm not a techie. My understanding is while connected to my laptop it is backing it up. My laptop has been freezing up and I was afraid it was about to crash; so I bought this very expensive 8TB. I had a 1 TB from Toshiba and it kept telling no space was left. These type products do not come with enough instructions for non-tech people. They should provide a complete explanation for "dummies". It makes noises while connected which always scare me; even though they aren't very loud.

it is very quiet, and just plug and play. I love USB 3.0 transfer, it is very fast. I'm using it to RIP my movies, music, so I can view it on my TV via PLEX.

It works great, have not had any problems. It has a nice appeal and with the USB port, gives me an additional hook up for my accessories .

I'm a professional photographer amd cinematographer and always in need of more space dealing with 4k video and large raw files so this was just what I needed.

Very satisfied with purchase. Was able to store data from several computers on this one drive. Just remember to keep backing up new data.

Well, so far so good. I have always had good luck with Seagate external hard drives and this has tons of room for all of the video projects we work with.

Great price for the memory it has, been it's been very inconsistent upon trying to find it on my desktop. Good feature that it has with being able to port it to other drives or your phone.

8tb external allows me to store a huge amount of media and move it between servers when needed or take along to other locations. Good size for portability.

Perfect purchase to backup photos and GoPro videos which were eating up tons of space on my laptop and well over-grown my original external HD (250 gb).

I bought this as a companion storage for my desktop iMac. Easy to install and actually has the entire 8gb available to use.

8 TB is a nice size for backup. Two USB ports in front are very convenient and are a nice bonus..

good product,comparing other external hard drives, this is cost effective and has 2 usb ports for connecting multiple devices.

I use this hard drive for my Xbox One X. Works great and is really fast with loading my games. Highly recommend!
