Seems to be working fine

Will it give me the dreaded click of death after only a few months? Or will it last years and years? I've had good experiences with external Seagate drives in the past, and theirs was the cheapest 1 TB USB3 drive at the time of purchase. Let's hope it keeps working properly.

Great for Students

The only downside I experienced was having to download a program to use it on a Mac. Now with my personal Mac that's no problem at all, but the school's wouldn't work because I had to have an admin password to download programs. So keep that in mind when buying this. Other than that little inconvenience it all worked out. I was able to take things from the hard drive on a Mac, just not put them in.

Easy and Necessary Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had so many picture through the years of my entire family dating back to the 30's all saved on Mac Mini but the machine was getting old and the processing speed was terrible along with no remaining RAM so I upgraded to a MacBook pro and bought this external hardrive to store and save all of my highly important family photos! A lifesaver!

One of the best product I bought at Best buy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primarily used this for storing photos from my wedding.I also have DSLR and when I was over seas since I didn't have my laptop with me,I transferred all my photos in this external hard drive when my SD card was full.I enjoyed the moment of taking pictures without having to worry about getting memory full.I love this piece.

Good for the price

I specifically purchased the one for Mac, but I still had to reformat it in order to get it to work with my computer. Once that was done haven't had any issues.
