    this works very well; it's reliable and worked as soon as I plugged it into my computer. I can't confirm whether it is faster than USB 2 external drives, but it does work well and was a great value.

    This is a great back up HD for a great price. So simple to use. Basically plug in, auto set up, you choose the method of back up of your data (All options thoroughly explained), and presto! Done.
