great product, needed it because my laptop was ruuning out of space.

I bought this disk drive solely for backup purposes for a System Image. Seems to work well for that.

I needed to restore my computer to factory settings and I bought this drive and within 14 days I lost everything. The drive no longer works and seagate is trying to get me to pay $299 for data recovery. I had the device for 14 days and it stopped working and I lost everything. The drive powers up but doesn't read anything. I was so disappointed because there were good reviews about seagate but I will never buy their products again.

Just got this because I needed another one I have an old seagate and it still works great.

Bought this 1TB HF at first but then exchanged it for the less expensive but just as good Passport 1TB HD at Best Buy. Saved me about $10.

Worst purchase ever! I put all my data from 10 years on this and planned to then back up the drive with another drive, but before I could do that, it DIED! Seagate was no help - they said they do not warranty against data loss .... so what's the purpose of putting data on there if you don't want to keep it? I will NEVER buy another Seagate product!

Great external HDD. Seagate makes great HDD. Would recommend these to everyone.

I hate Seagate products, but was in a bind and was told BestBuy no longer carries my preferred Toshiba brand hard drives, so I went with this one. Horrible mistake. As with every other Seagate drive i've ever gotten, this one died. Only, this one died FASTER then the others. Purchased Dec 31, Clicks of death on 2/19. Please, if you have other options or brands to choose from, go with them and save yourself the headache. I've had these style hard drives, and the uprights that require a power pack to run, and none of them are reliable of an extended period. I didn't use this on a daily basis, in fact if it was used twice a week i'd be shocked, and yet it's dead already. My three year old Toshiba 2TB, still running like a champ.

The hard drive works great for bringing files back and forth from work.

As always, Seagate makes great stuff, nothing to complain about here.

This external hard drive works great. It's nice and compact too.

I easily download to the hard drive and it saves all my work with no problem.
