Totally surprised that a Seagate product would fail, but this is the second one. That's just how badly I wanted to believe. Buy something else.

I had to copy my files to the drive because I couldn't see they were backed up after it spent a lot of time supposedly backing up my info

This external hard drive turned into a brick or bodecker in less than a month. Don't waste your money. The WD My Passports are sturdy and long lasting.

Drive worked great. I attached it to my xbox for additional storage. Not only did it add alot more space for games and add-ons, but it also increased loading speeds in games (I was able to load into maps in battlefield 1 faster, which allowed me to get certain vehicles faster.) But all games benefited from the faster load speed through usb3.0

This is the most confusing item I have ever purchased. I still don't know if it's works and I have been using it for about a month now.

After struggling to find, download and install the update to convert storage to Mac friendly format..... Drive still wouldn't recognize with my Mac

I am using this device as extra storage for the Xbox One and so far its worked out well for me. I can't tell any different in using the internal storage and everything transferred over great. Good value for the dollar and really my only complaint was the employee in the store going on and on to me about purchasing a different one as this one had horrible reviews and wasn't near as good as the Seagate that was $20 more. She got quiet and walked off after I opened the app and showed her the reviews on best buy's own website told a 100% different story.

Awesome storage cord pretty flimsy. Less that two weeks cord wouldn't work any more. Had to bend the wire to get connection

Purchased for external hard drive for my ps4 was insisted by best buy team member that its compatible with ps4. Its not returned.

Mac format by Geek was required. Any file saved to it locks and can not be opened. Duh. Expensive counterproductive time waste.

I needed to buy a portable hard drive to back up a portion of the files I have. I wanted something fast, sleek and easy to use. This drive fit exactlywhat i needed!

I got this because it was 59.99 and had to return it because it quit working and now I have to do it again

Work the first time on my home computer. Took it with me and never worked. Taking it back for a refund.

This external hard drive is thin and can easily be carried out. So far, it appears to be reliable in backing up data. I have not had any issues with it so far.

I dont know if i buy from any thong from busy buy they have shuld repalce things which one damage

Device stopped working. I can’t access any of my files on any of my computers.

This device broke after 3weeks, I haven't had a chance to return it, very disappointed.

I bought this to do regular PC backups. So far it works wonderfully. It even came with 200meg of additional Onedrive space and Lyve software.

just crashed and it has only been a couple of months
