I have not had any issues with speed or reliability. If you did not already know I had an external storage unit attached, you would never notice from the performance. I also ended up purchasing one for a family member to use with their Xbox One. I got both "on sale" for $75. Tough to beat that price for 2TB external. Also - Setup with Xbox One console is very easy.

Backup after computer crashed

It was easy to set up and I was able to transfer my files and photos pretty quickly. I haven't had it very long but I am hoping it will last long and not give me any issues.

Great buy, easy to use

I probably am trying to get it to do something it can't. So I went to the Windows Control Manager, and backed up what I wanted to save from there. It worked like a miracle, and now It is very easy to access anything I have saved to Seagate. Small and compact, just plug it in to a USB port on your computer.
