For the price I paid for 2 TB, this portable hard drive is more than sufficient and the compact size is convenient.

I needed an external hard-drive bcuz my wife had so many selfies on her iPhone 6 that ALL the memory/storage was gone. It was cumbersome at first to transfer the photos from her iPhone to my MacBook then to the Seagate hard-drive. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple Support before we got it right...I hope. However, the amount of storage is great compared to the price, and I don't hafta mess with iCloud anymore, so I'm happy I bought it.

The Seagate Backup Plus is exactly what we needed to backup our system and data, particularly photos. It is easy to use and comes with a backup program, but I just used Windows. It is so small it would be great as a portable, but we keep it in our small safe.

This external HDD is quick and reliable, it worked out of the box and the drivers were easy to install.

Not much you can say about a remote hard drive unless you drop them and loose all of he information. So far so good, just using it to keep from clogging up my ss hard drive on my latest lame. Windows P.C.

It gets heated up after 3 hours of continuous use. But there's no lag of performance whatsoever.

Product charges directly through USB so there is no need for a separate adapter- great for on the road where power and space is limited. I used the hard drive to free up space on my flash drives so I could continue to take more pictures.. fast transfer speeds and extremely portable. Highly recommend.

The Seagate 2TB external drive has been a great investment. I have not had any issue with it what so ever. I use this to backup family photos, important documents, as well as use it to backup my Playstation 4 data. The drive is very versitile and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Posted reviews are mixed. But after 3 months, I've had no problems. I bought mine to match my 2 TB HP All-in-One desktop and I am no where near hitting the capacity. For the purpose I purchased this item, it is meeting my needs. But I would suggest that anyone considering buying this product, pay particular attention to the information sharing clause and read any reviews pertaining to what they actually do with your information.

Would encourage anyone who needs more space to save your information from your laptop or computer.
